Courtney, co-president of 4 The Love Foundation, is the Tumwater Community Schools Manager with Together!, a local non-profit, and also serves as a general board member for SafePlace and the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound. She holds a BA in Communication & Public Relations from CWU and has a career in social services focused on supporting students and families.
Her roles aim to remove barriers for students, ensuring a safe home environment and positive education. She values partnerships and collaboration to build thriving communities.

Courtney enjoys time with her three children, being on the water with her husband and friends, running, boating, and music. Known for her communication and advocacy skills, she is passionate about creating systemic change.
Grateful for her board colleagues and volunteers, Courtney is proud of 4 The Love Foundation's impact and believes in "We rise by lifting others."

Charli, co-president of 4 the Love Foundation, is the AVP of Business Development for Americas Credit Union, and a community volunteer. She holds a BA in Social Justice & Psychology from TESC and is currently enrolled in an MML program at WGU.

Charli serves on the boards of the Community Foundation, the Bridge Music Project, Harlequin Productions, Thurston Together! and the Evermore Foundation. Her leadership and passion for community engagement drive these organizations' success.

As a volunteer, Charli supports local initiatives promoting social change and aiding underserved populations. Her dedication to social justice and community well-being is evident in her work.

katie mcdonald
Katie, Vice President of 4 the Love Foundation, is a devoted mother of three, loving wife to David McDonald, and the owner of KD Lane, a beloved local boutique. She cherishes family time and loves spontaneous adventures with her husband.

Katie's unwavering positivity and compassion uplift those around her. Through the 4 the Love Foundation, she actively supports her community, instilling the value of volunteerism in her children.

As the owner of KD Lane, Katie brings her passion for fashion to life, offering unique and trendy pieces. Her dedication to exceptional customer experiences has built a loyal following.

Treasurer
Meghan Borden
Meghan, Treasurer of 4 the Love Foundation, brings 25 years of accounting experience from both public and private sectors. She owns an accounting firm that supports local small businesses, reflecting her commitment to community growth.

As Treasurer, Meghan oversees the foundation's finances, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with non-profit regulations.
​
Outside of work, Meghan is a devoted wife to Aaron and mother to Brayden (13) and Bodie (11), as well as a "bonus-mom" to Max and Liam. Her family enjoys traveling and spending quality time together.
​
An avid athlete, Meghan engages in hiking, running, weight training, and water sports, maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle that fuels her professional energy and determination. Her expertise and passion make her an asset to 4 the Love Foundation.
Secretary
maxey brooks
Maxey, Secretary of 4 the Love Foundation, a true Washington native from Spokane, has called Olympia home for over a decade. She is a devoted mother and loving wife to Jeff, with her family being her greatest joy.
Professionally, Maxey is a branch manager at a local credit union, dedicated to guiding members on their financial journeys with a focus on education and empowerment.

Maxey is passionate about giving back to the community through volunteering, recruiting, and supporting those in need.

In her free time, Maxey enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, listening to audiobooks, and walking her dog, Kona. Known for her loyalty, empathy, and love, Maxey is committed to teaching and uplifting those around her.

Tiffany Munoz
Tiffany Munoz is a dedicated QA Specialist at BECU, where she plays a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of quality and service. Married and a mother of two, Tiffany balances her professional responsibilities with a deep commitment to her family. She is passionate about community service and education, embodying the spirit of a lifelong learner. Recently, Tiffany joined the board of 4 the Love Foundation. Although new to the board, she has been actively volunteering at all foundation events and assists behind the scenes in creating imperative information, sponsorship forms, and designing fancy invitations and flyers.

katie betschart
Katie is a devoted mother of three and a loving wife to Brandon, owner of BES Electrical Services. She supports her children, Lalie (14), Jenner (11), and Baylor (10), in their sports and activities. Lalie excels in volleyball, Jenner in baseball and football, and Baylor in basketball and volleyball.
Katie previously worked in real estate but chose to focus on her family. She enjoys hosting, decorating, and yard work. Known for her ability to connect with others, Katie embodies community spirit and support. She coached her children's sports teams in the past and remains their biggest cheerleader.
Though she loves travel, Katie values a stable home environment amidst her children's busy sports schedules, balancing adventure with cherished family moments at home.

Tessa Effland
Tessa Effland, a native of Olympia, Washington, has been married for 26 years and has two children. She owns The Chamber Olympia's Hidden Bar and Fit Life Studio and Nutrition in Briggs Village. As a certified Nutritionist and Personal Trainer, Tessa is dedicated to improving community health and well-being.

She loves hosting events, hiking, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, weightlifting, and running. Tessa's "let's get to yes" attitude drives her proactive and positive approach to life and work.

As Co-Founder of 4 the Love Foundation, Tessa is passionate about making a positive impact in the community. She values the foundation's growth and the dedication of its board members in spreading love and support to those in need.

Nicole andres
Nicole Andres, co-founder of 4 the Love Foundation, has been a bartender in Thurston County for nearly two decades and owns Nicole’s Bar in downtown Olympia. Despite challenges during the Covid pandemic, she successfully established her bar and demonstrated resilience and adaptability.
​
Nicole also owns the 1889 Prime Steakhouse and was honored as Thurston Chamber Boss of the Year in 2021. Through the 4 the Love Foundation, she supports the community, reflecting her dedication to giving back. Family and friends are central to her life, driving her passion and commitment to her ventures.
